A New Deputy Chairman Appointed at Azerbaijan Railways

According to the decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, a new appointment has been made at «Azerbaijan Railways» CJSC.  Arif Aghayev has been appointed as the Deputy Chairman of Azerbaijan Railways.

Arif Ramiz oghlu Aghayev was born in 1980. In 2000, he graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the Faculty of International Economic Relations at Azerbaijan State University of Economics. In 2002, he completed his master’s degree with distinction. From 2011 to 2012, he earned a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom.

Over the years, Arif Aghayev has worked in various international consulting companies, gaining extensive experience in business development, financial analysis for regional projects, entrepreneurship development, and commercial analysis.

Since June 2023, Arif Aghayev has served as an advisor to the Chairman of Azerbaijan Railways. He was responsible for investment management, relations with international financial institutions, and overseeing the implementation of strategic goals. During his tenure at Azerbaijan Railways, he led programs to improve operational efficiency and manage investment projects.
