Route: India – Persian Gulf – Iran – Azerbaijan – Georgia – Ukraine – Europe
The South-West Transport Corridor is intended for the transport of goods between the European Union and India. The corridor passing through Iran, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Ukraine reduces the temporary loss of freight traffic from India to Europe and vice-versa, through Iran, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Ukraine. According to preliminary estimates, cargo transportation along this corridor will be available within 7 days, while the delivery time on alternative routes is 35 – 37 days.
