Azerbaijan Railways is represented at the international "InnoTrans" exhibition

The delegation of «Azerbaijan Railways» CJSC, led by Chairman Rovshan Rustamov, is participating in the international "InnoTrans" exhibition, which takes place in Berlin from September 24 to 27.

The "InnoTrans" exhibition, held every two years and attracting over 100,000 participants, is one of the largest international exhibitions showcasing vehicles and technologies for public transport, including railway transportation.

The main topics of "InnoTrans 2024" include digitalization in the transport sector, sustainable development, and digital solutions based on artificial intelligence. This year, 2,940 companies from 59 countries, as well as 32 international organizations, are represented at the exhibition.

The purpose of Azerbaijan Railways's participation in the exhibition is to familiarize themselves with the latest innovative products and digital solutions from leading transport companies worldwide, as well as to hold discussions with representatives of foreign railway administrations.

On the first day of the exhibition, Azerbaijan Railways leadership held meetings with the delegation of the leading UAE railway company "Etihad Rail" and representatives of "Ukrainian Railways."

During the meetings, the prospects for developing cooperation, freight transport, including transit transportation, were discussed, and a productive exchange of views took place. Special attention was paid to the steps taken by Azerbaijan Railways to diversify routes along international corridors. Azerbaijan Railways's projects on the digitalization of operations in the Middle Corridor sparked great interest from partners.
