Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, and Georgia Discuss Middle Corridor Enhancement

Rovshan Rustamov, Chairman of “Azerbaijan Railways” CJSC (ADY), a company within AZCON Holding, met on 9 February 2026 in Tashkent with Zufar Narzullayev, Chairman of the Management Board of “Uzbekistan Railways” JSC, and Lasha Abashidze, Director General of “Georgian Railways” JSC.

During the meeting, issues of mutual interest were discussed, including railway cooperation among the three countries and prospects for more efficient freight transport from Central Asia to Europe via the Middle Corridor.

It was also emphasized that expanding the implementation of digital solutions is essential in order to further increase freight transportation along this corridor and attract new cargo.
