Reforms for the Development of Transport Corridors Continue – Reorganization of "ADY Express"

In order to develop international transport corridors passing through Azerbaijan and to increase their competitiveness and attractiveness, Azerbaijan Railways CJSC is carrying out systematic and consistent measures and reforms. For the development of one of the most significant routes — the Middle Corridor, which facilitates the transit of goods from East to West, Azerbaijan Railways has been actively collaborating with international partners within the framework of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route Association. Additionally, work on the establishment of the Eurasian Transport Route Association began in 2024.

To enhance the efficiency of transit shipments through these corridors, particularly in container transportation, it was decided to reform the management of this area. In this regard, as of November 1, 2024, ADY Express LLC will be reorganized by merging with ADY Container LLC, which will enable the combined entity to offer clients a broader range of services, including both container and wagon transportation.

The merged company will provide comprehensive logistics services, including multimodal transportation, allowing clients to save both time and financial resources. The introduction of digital technologies to optimize logistics processes is planned, ensuring transparency and security of cargo transportation along the corridor.

These reforms will not only contribute to the development of international transport corridors but also improve the quality of service and customer satisfaction in the field of freight transportation within Azerbaijan.
