ADY Express increased cargo transportation from Kazakhstan

ADY Express increased cargo transportation from Kazakhstan

The current geopolitical realities lead to a change in the logistics map in the Eurasian space and a change in the direction of cargo flows. Central Asian countries have already begun to take advantage of Azerbaijan's transit opportunities to ensure access to world markets. Large cargo owners and logistics companies from those countries are increasingly choosing Azerbaijan as a transit route.

"ADY Express" LLC, a subsidiary of Azerbaijan Railways, has managed to repeatedly increase cargo transportation of Kazakhstan origin and Kazakhstan destination by providing quality logistics service.

During 10 months of 2022, ADY Express managed to transport more than 1 million tons of cargo in both directions. Considering that in 2021, the amount of cargo carried by ADY Express in this direction was a little more than 125,000 tons, it can be said that cargo transportation related to Kazakhstan has increased 8 times. It is possible to predict that this figure will grow 9-10 times by the end of the year.

During 10 months of this year, ADY Express transported almost 950,000 tons of cargo from Kazakhstan, 96% of them was transit cargo.

During the same period, ADY Express managed to transport nearly 100,000 tons of cargo to Kazakhstan.

It should be noted that goods from Kazakhstan are transported by 2 routes - through the Caspian Sea and Samur-Yalama border crossing.
